Who uses ParentPath

ParentPath is intended to be set up and operated by a parent or guardian. It does not ask children to create an account, communicate with other users, or provide information directly.

Information kept on your device

ParentPath may store a child profile, birth date, interests, development observations, activity history, parent notes, optional activity photos, and the parent or guardian email entered during the consent flow. This information is stored in the app’s local container and is used to provide age-relevant guidance, preserve the parent’s records, and support deletion from Settings.

The current release does not upload child profiles, birth dates, observations, notes, photos, or consent email to ParentPath servers. Removing all data in Settings or uninstalling the app removes the app’s local records.

Crash reporting

ParentPath uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix crashes. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may receive a Crashlytics installation UUID, Firebase installation ID, crash trace, app version, operating-system version, device model and technical crash context. ParentPath does not attach a name, email, child profile, observation, note, or photo to these reports.

Crash information is used only for app functionality and reliability. It is not used for advertising or to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites. Firebase describes its processing and retention practices in its Privacy and Security documentation.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The current release does not transmit product analytics, include advertising, create advertising profiles, use the advertising identifier, or track users across apps or websites.

Activities and guidance

Core guidance and activities in the current release are bundled with the app and work offline. The current release does not send child information or prompts to an external generative-AI provider.

Notifications and photos

Notification scheduling is performed by Apple on the device after permission is granted. Optional photos selected for activity records stay in ParentPath’s local data store. Photo-library or camera access can be revoked in iOS Settings.

Your choices

You can decline notification, camera, or photo-library access. You can delete ParentPath’s local child records from Settings. For help with privacy questions or deletion, email support@kidgrow.app. Please do not email child records, photos, or sensitive medical information.

Children and safety

ParentPath provides general educational guidance for parents and is not a medical device or diagnostic service. The app does not sell personal information, show behavioral advertising, or provide child-to-child social features.

Changes

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
